In this quick tutorial I will explain how to get rid of annoying IE Enhanced Security Configuration page which appears every time you launch your Internet Explorer browser in Windows Server 2019 and prevents you from accessing websites.
What is IE Enhanced Security Config?
Let us see. Say, I have just installed a brand new copy on Server 2019 and want to download drivers or install software. But as I launch the browser I immediately face the page res://iesetup.dll/HardAdmin.htm telling me Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is enabled
This means that you cannot open any web page of any website (even SSL protected using the URL beginning with https://) until you add every single web page to the exclusion list (a.k.a. As you can understand, this kind of “security” is an overkill and serves primarily to make you life harder instead of improving security of your Server running Windows Server 2019 OS.
